Several SCHS Musicians auditioned for Senior Regional Orchestra, All State Jazz, and Senior Honors Choir this past month.  These auditions are highly competitive and require a great deal of preparation on the students’ part.  The students below were selected for these prestigious groups and will go on to perform in November. 

Senior Regional Orchestra, November 11 at Wakefield HS – Christine Hwang (cello), Elena Kim (English horn), Junhee Sim (cello)

All Virginia Jazz Ensemble, November 16 in Richmond at the Virginia Music Educator’s Association State Conference - Vanya Balakersky (trumpet)
