About Dr. Khoshaba

Dr. Khoshaba enters his 27th year in public education and his second year as Principal at South County High School. Prior to becoming a high school principal, his administrative experience found Dr. Khoshaba serving as a middle school principal, as well as an assistant principal at both middle and high school levels.  His educational career also includes work as a school psychologist, special education teacher, and wrestling coach.

Dr. Khoshaba is excited to work this year under the school’s theme, “Together As One.” His collaborative leadership style supports this message of working in teams to accomplish goals and solve issues of concern.

Though he was born and raised in Virginia, Dr. Khoshaba is proud of his Iraqi heritage and believes spending time with family is one of the true blessings in life.  Some of his favorite hobbies include figuring out a challenging Sodoku board, traveling and making a great cup of coffee. He’s also a huge Star Wars fan.

Dr. Khoshaba holds a Doctorate of Education in Education Administration from The George Washington University, a Master of Arts in School Psychology from Radford University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Christopher Newport University.
