Practice for the PSAT, SAT, ACT and ASVAB
College Entrance Testing (SAT / ACT)
Many four-year colleges and universities have announced that they will continue to be test optional for the current admission cycle, yet some schools still require the college entrance exam scores as part of the application or if a GPA threshold has not been met. Students need to read the application requirements carefully for each school on their list and plan accordingly. For college entrance test dates, registration and score reporting, students should visit:

Fee waivers for both the SAT and the ACT are available to those who qualify. Students should see Mrs. Lauria in Student Services to request waivers. Seniors are reminded that official SAT and ACT scores must be sent to colleges through student accounts and cannot be sent by SCHS.

Tutor.com - 24/7 live tutoring and self-paced resources accessed through Schoology.
ACT Academy - Offers a question of the day, practice test questions, and tips.
Khan Academy - Official College Board SAT practice. Offers free, personalized practice for the SAT.
SAT Vocabulary Builder - Site with 5,000 vocabulary words that can be printed from .pdf or read online. An audio version of the words is available for purchase.
Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)
Juniors and seniors are typically offered an opportunity each year to register to take the ASVAB at SCHS. At this time, the ASVAB cannot be administered in a virtual environment. Students interested in taking the ASVAB may choose to connect with enlistment recruiters and take the ASVAB with them at any time.
