Medals for FBLA Students
Four Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members earned medals at the FBLA NOVA Regional Competition in early March. In preparation for the competition, the students began honing their business and computer skills in the fall. Students competed in events that tested their knowledge of FBLA policies and procedures, public speaking skills, the use of video editing and multimedia software, and the ability to create business documents using proper format.
By the end of the evening, it was evident that their hard work paid off! Each student earned a place on stage by placing in the Top Three in each of their respective events:
- H. Chong, First Place, Word Processing
- K. Rawat, Second Place, Public Service Announcement
- T. Adu-Poku, Second Place, Introduction to FBLA
- D. Goulding, Third Place, Introduction to Public Speaking
We are extremely proud of their accomplishments and we wish them well as they move on to compete in the Virginia FBLA State Competition!
