About Mr. Hazard
Mr. Hazard is excited to begin his 29th year in education as the new Assistant Principal at South County High School serving students with the last names Di - K. Before joining South County, he served as the MTSS Coordinator and System of Support Advisor at Robinson Secondary School, where he helped develop strategies to support all students. He also spent many years as a Health and Physical Education teacher and the Head Wrestling Coach at Robinson, where his teams achieved numerous accolades, including seven VHSL State Championships.
With a strong foundation in educational leadership and community engagement, Mr. Hazard is eager to make a positive impact at South County High School, inspiring both students and staff to reach their fullest potential. He holds both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in education from George Mason University, where he also wrestled for the Patriots. In his free time, Mr. Hazard enjoys traveling and cooking with his family, listening to live music, and serving as a public address announcer and TV broadcaster for various sports.
