Access information about technology use and support at SCHS

April and May are big testing months for schools throughout FCPS as SOL and AP tests will be scheduled. Please ensure your children are fueled with breakfast, get plenty of rest, and arrive at school on time. Bell schedules change on SOL testing dates so please check our schedule to stay connected.

Review the 2024 underclassmen and senior final exam schedules. Final exams begin on Thursday, May 30 for Seniors.

The FCPS PreK and Early Head Start program is accepting applications for SY 2024-25. FCPS PreK and Early Head Start programs provide a high-quality early learning experience for qualifying income-eligible children ages six weeks to four years living in Fairfax County.

FCPS is exploring options for adjusting middle school start times and invites the public to be part of the process. Prismatic Services, Inc., an educational consulting firm, will lead the forums.

Register now for FCPS summer camps for students currently in grades 6-11, including Institute for the Arts (IFTA) and Career and Technical Education (CTE) Summer Academy.

Students have unlimited access to online tutoring support services through Tutor.com at no cost to families. Students can connect online any time, any place, and in most K-12 subjects for however long they need. Tutoring may be on-demand or scheduled at a time convenient for the student and/or family.

High school students can access virtual mental health services via live video sessions, at no cost to families. FCPS has partnered with Hazel Health to offer the therapy sessions.
