SCHS students joined teachers and students from North America and Europe to attend a 3 day Leadership Conference n Berlin, Germany. The Summit theme was "The Impact of Sports and Wellness." One of the goals of this year's theme was that students would gain new perspectives on well-being and how to achieve it. Congratulations to SCHS student, Sarah Peckham and her team members (hailing from other countries and states) who won the challenge competition.

Welcome, Dr. Kambar Khoshaba, the new principal of South County High School!

South County High School students use the library as a meeting spot to knit winter hats for the homeless, make pet blankets for animal shelters and enlist librarians as sponsors of the Elder Outreach Club, a group of roughly 90 students who formed during the pandemic to send letters to senior citizens, as part of a push to combat loneliness.

Mr. Sean Miller, history teacher at South County High School, was honored on September 21 for his creative, impactful teaching style and his work developing African American History curriculum at FCPS.
